She visited his seaman boyfriend aboard the ship and got a surprise proposal instead

Who wouldn’t know the tagline “SEAMANloloko”? We heard a lot of stories of Long Distance Relationship ended up in sorrow and cheating especially who works aboard the ship. Temptation and longing are said to be the primary reasons why they cheat.

But this proved wrong by a girlfriend who shared her story online. Netizens are praising the efforts of one Filipino seaman after her fiancé shared how he proposed to her onboard the ship he works in.

The Filipina, who chose not to disclose her name, shared their love story on the Facebook page Seaman’s Girlfriend Confessions. In the post, she said her boyfriend’s ship docked in the Philippines so they planned to come aboard and visit him aboard. But when she got there, she was totally shocked because her boyfriend suddenly proposed to her! Not even thought how he could do that.

She was pleasantly surprised to learn that he even sought permission from her parents! And he was able to make all these arrangements even while the seaman is out at sea.

She said she’s expecting that there will be positive and negative comments after she shares her story. But most of the comments on her story are all congratulations and praise.

How about you? Do you also believe that ‘Marinos’ are still loyal and worth the trust?
