Manny Pacquiao was the best thing that happened to this ice cream vendor

It was a normal day for an impoverished ice cream vendor in General Santos City, when he unexpectedly met Manny Pacquiao.

You can say anything you want about his job as a Senator, but we all know where Pacquiao’s heart is — helping people in need. For someone who grew up with nothing, he has this rather unique connection with the poor. This clearly didn’t go away even after all these years of fame and influence.

“Sen. Manny Pacquiao is such a good and humble man.”

Apparently, Manilay was with Pacquiao when she suddenly spotted an ice cream vendor. With the scorching heat, she thought of buying exactly ten pieces of ice cream for the team, including one for the boxer. When she finally handed it to him, Pacquiao asked for Manilay to call the vendor.

First, he gave the vendor PHP3,000 cash. But as they were casually talking, Pacquiao found out that the man recently had a stroke. Add to that, he needs financial support to pay for his child’s education.

From PHP3,000, the Senator upped his offering to PHP30,000.

But his generosity didn’t end at that. It appears that Pacquiao also offered the vendor a job at the Golden State, plus guess what? A house and lot all on the boxer.

Capping off her post, Jenny left a Bible verse from the book of Luke.

“FOR EVERYONE WHO EXALTS HIMSELF WILL BE HUMBLED, AND HE WHO HUMBLES HIMSELF WILL BE EXALTED” -Luke 14:11″
