Recently, Actress Mandy Moore ditched the classic white wedding dress and chose the color blush pink for her wedding.
The 34-year-old star, exchanged vows with musician Taylor Goldsmith, 33, on Sunday at an intimate backyard ceremony. What’s at this wedding that made it extraordinary? Her wedding gown!
The 34-year-old star went totally retro with her wedding gown, selecting a pink dress with several tulle ruffled layers and a floral embellishment at the waistline.
The princess-worthy gown had a high neck, floral appliqués at the waist, and a frothy, tiered skirt. A matching pink tulle veil and glittery eye makeup completed the look.
The pink dress is a totally refreshing changeup on a traditional bridal look, especially given that this is Mandy’s second wedding.
“I’m kind of confident that it’s not going to be the stereotypical white wedding dress because it just doesn’t feel the most me,” she told People ahead of the nuptials in August. “It’s going to probably be a little bit more non-traditional. I think the whole day will sort of feel a little bit more non-traditional, so the dress will sort of follow suit. I kind of want to feel like the best version of myself.”
Moore also told the publication she wanted to wear something that differed from her look at her first wedding to Ryan Adams, who she split from in 2016.
“This is my second go-round,” she added. “I feel like I eloped before and I think I’ll probably keep it very small again. I’ve never been the girl that wanted to wear a white dress. No judgment, but it’s not for me. I think it’ll be just as small with family and friends. No bridal magazines for me.”
The intimate wedding was a very special celebration and included guests Sterling K. Brown, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, and her close friends Emily Schuman and the Streicher sisters.
