Tirso Cruz III and the Cruz clan dance in Honor of Teejay Cruz’s wake.

Teejay Cruz, son of actor Tirso Cruz III and Lyn Ynchausti, died on Wednesday, November 21, after battling cancer. He was 37.

The last night of Teejay Cruz’s wake was in a celebratory mood.

In fact, there was a praise dance in his honor, and it was led by no less than his dad, Tirso Cruz III and his uncle Rodjun Cruz.

Joining him were his wife Lynn Cruz, children Bodie and Djanin, and other members of their clan.

“This was last night at my son TJ’s Celebration of Life,” Lynn began her accompanying caption. “I know this made him smile. Ito ang gusto niya sanang gawin, to do a flashmob praising and worshipping the Lord na hindi na nya nagawa ditto sa mundong ibabaw. But I know in my heart na sa langit ay ginagawa na niya ito an the Lord is peased! Thank you Lord! Thank you Jesus!”

The video also showed Tirso’s close friend Bobot Mortiz taking photos.

Netizens couldn’t help but notice Tirso’s “walang kupas” dance prowess.

TJ himself was a good dancer. He has this memories dancing with his Dad, his sister and cousins in the tune of Fetty Wap’s song.

Likewise, Bodie mentioned his kuya’s passion for dancing, “You desired nothing but to serve God and to glorify Him through dancing. Now, you will be able to do it free from sickness and pain, and in front of our Creator Himself—and you get to worship Him there forever.”
Teejay’s remains will be cremated later, 2 p.m., November 25, in Manila Memorial Park.
